I wanted to take the time to give you some advice on content. So content is king on the Internet. If you have good content, then organically people are going to flock to your site. If you have good content, people are going to recommend it. And, you know, if you focus on the quality of your content, you will end up making it.
It might take a little bit of time if you're not using a paid method and stuff like that. But good content is king. And recently I had some new people in in my team doing an apprenticeship and I was trying to explain them the different types of content that you can have on your website, you blog, your landing page, whatever it is that you have, or your YouTube channel or something.
You could actually write the content yourself. OK, so well, basically the big advantage is it won't cost you any money. Because all you need is actually your time and it will resonate with your voice. So you wrote it. You know your audience, your own personality, and your values and stuff like that. So it's going to reflect who you are. And, yeah, for your branding and for the longevity of your business, of course, itโs better.
But some people might disagree. The thing with writing the content, it's not just the hours that you put in, itโs the formatting and then you need to prove it and stuff like that. It's a lot of time, but it's worth it.
So remember what I said? ย Rich people spend money to buy time and poor people spend time to save money. Yes, I'm like that. And if you want to be able to produce a lot of content very, very quickly, you can actually pay someone to write some content for you.
Table of Contents
ToggleWhat kind of content is good for you?
OK, so you find a good writer, you give them a subject, you give them maybe the angle you want them to cover the subject from, and then afterwards they will write it for you.
Big advantage. Well it's fast, it's fast and you can do something else in the meantime. The disadvantage, I'll say is that it will cost you money. But then you can make up that money afterwards with the results that this article, this piece of content is going to give you.
But also it might not necessarily sound exactly like you. OK, so that's one thing you have to keep in mind. I said these are two options that you have. I so either you write it yourself or you get someone else to write it.
Or there's another option, which is user generated content. And this one is pretty cool. So let's say you have a community or something and basically, you get your users to go and start creating content and stuff for you.
So it's not going to work like this in the very beginning. Obviously, in the beginning, you may be the only one actually producing all the content and stuff. But, you know, as time goes by you will find some like ambassadors or something, then you can actually have everybody doing the content for you.
So you have seen groups like Facebook groups or something where people are asking questions. All the other people are answering. All the content is done for you by other people. And that's really cool. You can control the quality of the content because you're the admin. You can moderate it. But user generated content is cool, man, because, you know, from Google's perspective, there is fresh new content there and you can help your rank and stuff.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which content type works best for online entrepreneurs?
There is no single best content type. Written content is great for search, video builds trust quickly, audio fits busy commuters, and short form social drives discovery. The best choice depends on your audience habits, your strengths, and the offer you want to sell. Most successful operators pick one main format and repurpose it intelligently.
How should I decide between video, written, and audio content?
Decide by matching your strongest skill to the platform where your audience already pays attention. Force fitting yourself into video when writing comes naturally costs months. Pick the format you can produce consistently for at least a year, because consistency beats format every time. You can always add more formats later, after the first one works.
Is short form content enough to grow a real business?
Short form content is excellent for reach but rarely enough on its own to grow a business. Pair it with long form content that builds depth, an email list that captures attention, and a clear offer that converts. Short form pulls people in. The other layers turn the new attention into actual customers and repeat revenue.
How often should I publish new content to grow online?
Publish at the highest sustainable pace you can hold for twelve months without burning out. For most solo operators that is two to five pieces per week on the main channel, plus daily short form if it suits the platform. Consistency over a full year does more for growth than any single viral hit ever will.
