Google Is Your Friend.

What if the best skill you could work on today was “getting better at looking?”….

I meet people and they're like “oh dude what do you do?”  “I work online and you know I travel and stuff”.

“Oh man I wish you I wish I could do that” and blah blah blah.

So they start asking me a bunch of questions and sometimes they're like “oh you know what? I've always wanted to do this” and then I'm like “oh you know what? Just go on this website and that will help just log onto this Web site. But it's not like I created a resource that I just gave you. I didn't create it. Someone else did. I'm just pointing you in the right direction.

And you remember when I told you that some people will tell you that the best skill you can have is sales. Which you know makes sense to a certain extent. You're selling in various different circumstances in your life. If you're a good seller then you can make things happen.

But if you ask me from my perspective, the best skill you can have is to know who to ask. For example, if you're not a good salesman, find a good salesman. That person will sell for you. You give that person a commission and they’re going to make way more money than if you tried to sell yourself. So I like to know who to ask.

Google Is Your Friend.

So my point is when people tell me “oh man you're so awesome stuff”. I'm like No I didn't create this stuff. I'm just pointing you in the right direction. And that's the thing today people are still under the impression that you need to know everything yourself or to create everything yourself and that's the biggest mistake you can make here in this digital age.

So what you need already exists somewhere on the Internet right. And you need to develop a skill right. So I told you about the skill of knowing who to ask. Well you need to develop the skill of knowing where to look. OK. You just need to get better at looking for what you want. And it's really not complicated. Google!

You just google it!

Google is your friend. If you use Google you will find some really amazing things. It will take you more time to find someone who knows the answer than asking Google. Just type what you want in Google. You will be able to find it. OK. So the skill that you need to develop today is to get better at looking. And Google is just one of these places.

The other place you can look at is YouTube.

So people produce some really high quality and value videos where they will do some case studies or something or dissect a business deal for you. And this is how I found a lot of the tools that I use, by following people's trainings. I think I told you when I buy a training or when I read a book, I'm trying to get one or two or maximum three hidden gems then I can action right now.

Right. So for example if I get a training, and on that training I learn about a new automation tool that I can integrate in my strategy and make my life easier. Then the training was worth it and was a success. So what I'm trying to say here is there is a high likelihood that whenever you need to do, has been created on the Internet by someone. OK you just need to get better at looking, and using Google is great way to do it.

So start working on the skill. The skill is just get better at looking for what already exists. All right. Don't try to reinvent the wheel.
