Nothing Is Guaranteed In Business Except This.

Today, we are going to cover the ONE THING you have complete control over. it's probably not what you think…

So when I talk to people about a new project or projects that are currently working for me, I sometimes get this answer from people like “Oh yeah. But for you it's easy. Everything you do works” and you know that's not really true. So I think people have a tunnel vision of what life is and what being an entrepreneur is. And so that's why I wanted to touch base on the subject today.

So if you are you know buying Internet marketing products online. About how to start your business and everything, the author of the product should normally tell you that the results are not guaranteed. And they are doing that because of the SCC.

So when you start a business or a project you have no expectations. You have hopes and you have you can have a forecast and stuff like that. But that doesn't mean that it's going to happen. There are zero guarantees that whatever you plan for are going to happen. You don't have any control over this. So you could be Bill Gates. You can be Warren Buffett you could be Mark Zuckerberg. Nothing is guaranteed.

So when you go into a project, you go in there with a certain level of uncertainty. Experience will help you minimize the chances of the product or project failing. OK. Because you know it's just a rule of elimination. You have experience making mistakes and you've eliminated a bunch of things that well could possibly call cause the project to fail. But you can't eliminate everything all right.

You can be as experienced as you want. You can be a million years old. There'll still be a room for the unexpected. OK. There is no way to tell if it's going to work or not. There is no guarantee. OK. You can't control how people think or how people are going to react. You can't control the market and you can't control what's going to happen in the economy. You have no idea. Right. Nobody knows. Nobody has a crystal ball.

But there is one thing just one thing you can control and it's the amount of effort you put it. So let me repeat that. The only thing you can control is the amount of effort you put in to the task. So this doesn't come from me. So you know people who basically make excuses. “I can't motivate myself and you know I don't know how to do it” and blah blah blah. “Oh my projects are not working and stuff”.

Well your projects are not working because they're not putting in enough effort. So again I told you on a previous episode you need to find a “WHY”. Why are you doing this?  If you haven't found this, then this is precisely the type of problem you wilI have. You're going to find it hard to find the motivation. This is what's going to make the difference between those who are going to make it and those who are not going to make it.

So that's my you know that's my view and maybe you know some people will disagree and stuff saying that while it's only you know only based on luck or on market and stuff and you know people have their circumstances as well.

Right. So you might tell me that. “Yeah but it's easy for you but me I like to have four kids and I have this now I have that in our life time” and stuff like this. Well yes I understand everybody has their circumstances. I do have mine as well. You know I have my circumstances.

Maybe they're better than what they used to be. But even when I didn't have time which you know to be honest we all have 24 hours. I'm pretty sure that you can find an hour here and there. Maybe you can sleep an hour less or while you're commuting, you can work where you can do something while you're driving. For example, if you're commuting and you're in the in the underground or in the bus or something. There are things you can do.

You can listen to like a podcast or training like an audio or something. This is valuable time that you can use. That's what I did. I didn't know anything about marketing or whatever. I just decided that I'm going to put in the effort to learn, so after hours I was working on my side business.

And you know sometimes I was going to bed like maybe at some point I was going to bed it's like maybe 3:00 a.m. every night which is not good. I don't recommend doing that because it's not good for your health. You should have enough sleep but that was a choice.

So if you keep telling me “Oh man I’ve seen this series. Have you seen game of thrones? Have you seen this and that?” And then afterwards you tell me “I don't have time”. Well you know what? It doesn't sit well with me.

So that's that’s the lesson for today is your efforts is the one thing you can control 100 percent. It doesn't guarantee or success, but it will definitely ow give you an edge over people who don't put in the efforts. And efforts are rewarded!!
