Today I am going to give you a cool trick to change what seems impossible to you, today, into something easily attainable. Simple trick yet very effective.

So one of the things that I was telling about in the last episode was to have a goal of what your life looks like. This is the most important thing OK. Because you can formulate goals in terms of feel, in terms of money, in terms of like possessions and stuff. But I think the most important is you know at the end of the day it's your life.

So what life do you want? Express it in terms of lifestyle and not in terms of money. So that's the first thing you need to do with this. In terms of lifestyle. All right. What lifestyle do you want and then what kind of business is going to give you that?

Of course you cannot disregard the money aspect. I'm not going to tell you that it's all unicorns and flowers and everything and that you just need to say you know what I just want this life. You need to be realistic as well. And this is what I want to talk to you guys about today. Being able to define a monetary goal as well. So how do you do that?

So a few episodes back I told you about this app from Tony Robbins where you can you can determine how much money you actually need based on your current lifestyle or based on your current lifestyle plus a little bit of hobbies and stuff like this. So this is essential because the goal that you'll set up for yourself in terms of lifestyle and life goals is going to give you the “Why”. Right. The “Why” is very powerful.

So it is going to guide you. So you know if you always remember why you're doing this then it's going to be easy. And then the what and the how is going to be how much do you actually need?

You know at some point, you need to come up with a number. And don't pull a number out of a hat. And that number will give you a precise objective. But once you have this number you can formulate some goals. And the easiest way to go about it is to break it down. So if you break it down for example, for me for absolute financial freedom, I need forty one thousand.

So if I divide those forty one thousand by twelve months. I need three thousand four hundred and sixteen dollars to have my dream life. So that tells you a lot about me right. Very simple dude. So that's what I need per month. So that’s the goal right. So now I can check how much I need per day. By day I need a hundred and thirteen dollars. If I generate one hundred thirteen dollars a day. Well you see that these numbers are getting smaller. Right.

And you're like oh you know what. It doesn't seem that complicated. A hundred thirteen dollars a day is what I need to have that dream lifestyle of mine. But for one hundred thirteen dollars I don't necessarily have to do it with one business. You know I can have two businesses doing that. So if I divide that by two. Then I need fifty six dollars for each business in order to have my dream lifestyle.

So this is how you need to think about it. You need to break that down because if you take a number that's too high, it’s going to be very intimidating for you breaking down into smaller portions and then you have this objective. You work until you make that. And then afterwards you know don't stop there obviously.

You know if you're happy with this then you can stop there. But then afterwards you can increase that because once you did it once, then you're like oh you know what. Maybe I can do better.

So this is why you need the money figure in addition to the life goal. But you know just understand this, your life goal is the most important thing because what we're doing now here is the money aspect that just allows you to reach that life goal. OK. It's a vehicle. It's not what you want.

It allows you to have that life. So that's why it comes second but it is important for you to come up with numbers and break it down so that you understand that it's possible.

So that's the thing that I really want you guys to do because these work in conjunction. So it's not just one or the other, you need a lifetime goal and then you need some sort of monetary goal which is how you're going to achieve  what you want to do if that makes sense.

So that's the exercise for you guys today. Try to figure out first of all how much money based on your on your current lifestyle and your desires and everything how much you need.

So that's the thing. There is a difference between how much you want and how much you need and you realize that there is a big gap between what you want and what you need. Get those figures in your mind, and the rest will follow.
