I was watching documentaries on YouTube and CNBC about how this this brand came to age and how this thing works in the economy.

I was watching these documentaries about coronavirus and some of the industries that were affected the most. As you can imagine, aviation has been impacted like crazy. Some of them have 95 percent less revenue than last year.

After that, I was watching one on Hollywood. How it’s impacting Hollywood and it is really insane. So, you know, obviously with social distancing the last thing you want to do, I mean, unless you're a knucklehead, is to go out and go to the movies.

So as a result, what has been done? Every city has shut down the movies. And it means that people working in the theatres obviously lose their job. But also, if you're in the studio, why would you release your blockbusters now when nobody is going to see the movie?

So as a result, you have like big blockbusters that were scheduled for, like, you know, to be released now, like, I think it was like James Bond something and like Wonder Woman and a whole bunch of like Fast and Furious and all that kind of stuff.

So why am I saying this? Where am I going with this?

The thing with Freelancer's is that right now unfortunately the virus is exposing some huge problems with being a freelancer, because one thing being a freelancer is that if there is a problem, you're not entitled for unemployment benefit. So that means that all these people are jobless right now who normally rely on these gigs.

You know, there is a movie being shot. I am a good camera guy. They are going to call me and stuff. Then right now they don't have anything. And this was their bread and butter.

Same thing for an entrepreneur, you know, because of the virus, then you can end up in a very precarious situation.

So my point is that, you know, a lot of people aren't thinking about going into freelancing. So regardless what kind of freelancing it is, I don't know, graphics or creating websites or stuff like that or being a writer or something like this, they don't kind of like understand how the freelancing model works.

Nobody could have predicted this. And then you're not entitled to unemployment benefits.

I'm actually here to talk to you about a far better alternative that I think you should explore now. OK, Because here's the thing again. I've just told you about freelancing.

What I'm very, very happy about is that I am in a place where I can work online.  And there is a way for you to work online so that all this trouble is not going to affect you, OK, because you don't need people to leave their house or something.

You can work from home. You can have everything done without needing offices, employees, paying electricity, rent, etc. No overheads whatsoever, which means that in a situation like this big crisis, you're not getting hit.

So I have something for you here, guys right now. So I put the link here in the description so you can start a business. It is a training. So obviously you have to buy the training for it. But once you buy the training, you can have an automated business and you can actually start for free.

So if anything happens, you know, another recession that blah, blah, blah, you don't have any worries. At times like this it is always a time to reflect on what's happening and what are the mistakes that people make and what you can learn from that.

How to build income a recession cannot fire

You watched a downturn wipe out jobs and businesses overnight, and somewhere in the back of your mind you know you are one bad quarter from the same fear.

That fear is the whole reason I built the kind of business I have now. When a crisis hits, the people who get crushed are the ones with a single fragile source of income tied to someone else's decision. The people who stay calm own something that runs without a boss and reaches customers anywhere.

Recession proof does not mean untouchable. It means diversified, automated, and online. Skills you own, an audience you own, systems that keep selling while the world panics. When one channel dips, another holds. That is the difference between a scare and a catastrophe.

My move in any downturn is to stop protecting the old thing and start building the durable thing. Assets, not just a paycheck. Something that would survive if your industry vanished tomorrow.

The pattern is clear in the research. McKinsey has shown how the strongest businesses pull ahead during downturns rather than after them, and Stripe Atlas keeps showing that online, automated income holds up when traditional jobs do not.
