I make sure in my life that I don't have to deal with annoying advertising platforms, I mean, as much as humanly possible. So I usually don't have to interact too much with them. So, you know, my passion for Facebook ads, I don't know. I just hate these people.

It's unbelievable how they will, like, refuse your ad. And then you see the most outrageous ads running and you're like, I mean, are you serious? Why did you reject mine?

I tried Pinterest ads before, but for whatever reason, there was a problem in my account and I couldn't use the keywords. I could just use the interest. And I had zero traffic, like zero traffic.

And I spoke to someone saying, look, can you fix that for me? So, yeah, we can fix it will take four months. And I was like, Oh, you're serious, man? And then I realized that my account's been suspended. So, you know, one of those things like, yeah, I don't really have time for that kind of stuff, you know, going and talking to support and be like, oh, please, why did you do that? It's just really annoying. Right.

The reason why I'm telling you that is just a reminder of things that I've been telling you, you know, all the time. These platforms, they don't belong to you, OK? And at any point, just like they did with my Pinterest account for no reason, they can shut you down.

And in the case of Snapchat, I submitted this thing two days ago, so just imagine there was something pressing and you need the traffic now and then and it takes them 48 hours and maybe the window for you to actually do whatever it is that you wanted to do is gone. Right.

So that's why I'm saying, you know, basing like all your strategy, all your business on these platforms, is a huge, huge, huge mistake.

For me, well, it's an inconvenience, but it's a minor inconvenience, right. Because I'm just running an ad just to try it. It's not that I need it or something. So if it doesn't work, then my business is running. So that will be just like an added bonus if it works.

But if my whole business was based on like Pinterest, for example, and they just like closed my account, it will mess up your business, obviously. So now I had to make a plea or something for someone to go and have a look. And now I have to wait 48 hours. So that's another forty eight hours wasted. And then I have to negotiate with these people like, oh no, please, blah, blah, blah, etc..

It's imperative for you that you migrate the people from those platforms to your email list. It is absolutely essential for you to do it because trust me, they can one day for no reason out of the blue, just suspend your account and that's it. You're gone.

Be very careful and you need to build an email list. The advantage of the e-mail list is that nobody can take that away from you.
