Who doesn't want things to come easy to them? I mean would you say no to a bunch of cash that someone would just hand you?

Of course you would take it right? Ok unless there are some blood stains or something on it haha (and you never know with some people.)

I want to talk to you about something that actually starts with manga. So if you don't know what manga is, it's like Japanese animations, like cartoons or something.

So you might be like, dude, aren't you too old to watch this? Well, the answer is no. So that's my answer. So leave me alone.

And one thing that's very interesting in the manga is because, you know, if you look beyond the fact that it's a cartoon and stuff, they're actually talking about problems that everybody will face and the stuff that people will face in society, in the Japanese society or worldwide.

OK, so sometimes you just look behind a cartoon and you can see, oh, you know what? I like the moral of this. And it's fascinating.

I was watching one episode when there's this guy who created the whole ninja world or something. So basically, anyway, the guy shows up and he needs to elect his successor.

So he has two kids and he sends them out on a journey to accomplish a task. The task is going to these villages, they have to fix the problem there and then come back OK. And when you come back, depending on how that went, then I will select the successor. Right.

So the one thing is that the older brother had always been the most talented. He was super talented, super smart, super strong and everything. So it was obvious everybody said it should be him. Right. Because he was a genius. Right. And his brother really wasn't that good in anything.

So they both go to the respective villages. The older brother goes there, solves the problem in like a split second and then he comes back.

So let's say the older brother came back after like three days or something, but his younger brother still wasn't there. So everyone was saying, look, he came back before. Everybody knows he's the best choice. Just elect the guy. And the old dude said, you know what? Let me wait for his brother to come back.

The truth about easy money

So long story short, it took a year for the brother to come back. He came back with a whole bunch of people and the old dad was like, who are these people? He said, oh, these are people from the village.

So what happened was that the older brother, when he went to the village that had a problem, he went there, he fixed the problem for them, he said, OK, what's the problem? Bam, bam, bam, bam, fix the problem and then left.

OK, and what happened was that after he left a few days afterwards, everything went back to normal. People just went back to whatever they were doing before and the problem came back, OK.

Whereas the other one went to the village and actually worked with the villagers to solve the problem. This is why it took them a year, because he had to educate the villagers on, OK, this is the problem, blah, blah, blah.

In the beginning, they didn't want to be involved, but at the end of the day, they saw how motivated he was and they decided to help the guy. And eventually, when they fix the problem, the problem was fixed for good. And everybody contributed to this.

OK, so this is when the old dude decided to take the younger brother as his heir.

So the old guy said this: “What you get super easy doesn't last”.

OK, so why am I telling you this?

These are things that happened to you and that happened to me in our life. If you get it too easy, then this thing will not last.

Putting the effort in is 100 times more rewarding, it helps you understand all the sacrifices and all the mechanics that are behind, and its way more likely to last than if some something was handed to you.
