I was putting the finishing touches on the projects I was working on, and it is done. Oh, man. Jesus Christ. It was a lot more work than I thought, but it's evergreen now. It's going to be profitable, very profitable until the end of time.

So, you know, it was time well invested. And this is how you need to see things. You need to see things long term. And sometimes it might suck while you're doing it. And then afterwards, if it's something like, for example, this is a like an upscale product that I was doing. And well, if you know anything about sales, I mean, up sales are just pure profit.

OK, so you basically show another product to the user that you already paid for to get there and it will boost your revenue just as long as the upscale is a good product. It is going to help you make money in the long run. Plus I learned a lot by doing that.

And today it was a lot of fun. I wanted to put a little bit of fun in there because sitting at a desk doing stuff kind of sucks. And sometimes you just need to have fun. I was recording the video, which was pretty fun, and I actually included the bloopers as well because the bloopers were pretty ridiculous, to be honest.

Anyway it's all done. It's pretty cool. It's online already and yeah. It's going to be great. People are going to love it. It's going to help a lot of people and that makes me quite happy.

Here is what I like to do on Fridays.

Other news, the basketball session was pretty cool. I don't know why the girls were like really agitated today. It was crazy. It was really hard for me to get them to listen and stuff.

But it was running left and right. And, you know, it's just one of those things when you have to deal with kids is, you know, sometimes they just, you know, they're just kids, so in the end, it was cool, you know, we ended up playing cards, some new game that I didn't know, but I triumphed, my friend.

In the first game I was still learning the ropes. And then the second game I won. Then I retired. And then I have some friends of mine who say you never go out. Yeah. We never see you anywhere. Some people here in Bali have never seen me.

Right, because a lot of people will see each other. You know, yesterday night there was this party or something. And this is how people know each other. But since I don't necessarily don't go out to the parties, people don't know me that much.

And I've always said I'm more the type of person who likes good conversations with good people. And I like deep and profound conversations. My preference is not just going from one person to the other, like, what's your name? You know those conversations you have when it's like loud music and stuff like that.

I'm the chilling type of guy, you know, you spent some time with some friends. You talk life and you don't need anything fancy. Right. So now on Fridays I have a rhythm.

After basketball, we go to dinner with Claire and Richard and we just have a really good time. Good people, good conversation. We laugh and it's just very simple. You know, I don't need to go out and party, like, become a party animal or something. That's actually what I like.

Here is what I like to do on Fridays.

So I don't know what type of person you are, if you're more the party type or if you're like me. In French we call it lounge lizard. So in lounges, basically you have like couches and stuff, the little bit of background music, but you can still have a chat with people and stuff know. Just like talking to a lot of people, because if you're more like me where you don't need to have three other conversations.

You just need like a good conversation, super good with good people. Not that the other people are bad. All right. And if you go to like a party, everybody's bad or something. I'm not saying that. I'm just saying, you know, how important it is for me to be around good people.

And yeah, I'm just very happy that I get to do that on Fridays. I look forward to, you know, spending some time with the kids, training them and then just having like a relaxing evening. Good conversation. Good laughs.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does a typical Friday look like for a location-independent entrepreneur?

For me, Fridays in Bali follow a simple rhythm. I finish up work projects during the day, coach a kids' basketball session in the afternoon, then have dinner with close friends. It is about quality over quantity in both work and social life.

Do you need to be a party person to network as a digital nomad?

Not at all. I prefer deep one-on-one conversations over loud parties. The best connections come from genuine relationships, not surface-level networking. You can build a strong social circle by simply showing up consistently for good people.

How do you maintain work-life balance while living abroad?

The key is having rituals. My Friday rhythm (work, basketball, dinner) gives structure to the week. Living in Bali does not mean every day is a vacation. It means building a life you do not need a vacation from.
