Your dream could be worth another look.

Today we are going to talk about thé benefits of taking a second look at a project or dream you gave up on in the past.

It's the fact of revisiting something you you've tried before and that didn’t work, according to your expectations. Very often you just give up on it and then you forget about it. I was working on a project about Pinterest a few months ago, and I was very, very excited about it.

And I had great expectations and great hopes about Pinterest. So, you know, it was very ambitious of me to think that I was going to study it for like a few days and then afterwards I was going to master it.

So it's been on for maybe like a few months or something. And someone's taking care of that for me now. And it wasn't giving me the results that I wanted. So today I was looking for information about Traffic and stuff. And I ended up stumbling upon something about Pinterest.

And I realized that there were a lot of things that I completely disregarded because at the time when I was checking the information, I had absolutely zero knowledge about Pinterest.

I started watching these videos and stuff and reading documentation today and I realized that, oh, you know why whatever I did was not working according to my expectations is because I didn't understand these particular facts and their importance. All right.

So right now, what I'm going to do is I'm going to reintegrate them in my strategy, because, I mean, now that I have a better knowledge about Pinterest, which still sucks because I don't use it. But just by watching these videos and by comparing with what I can see on Pinterest, I can have a look at what some other people are doing.

How did I miss this? Most of the time it could just be that you didn't have the time. You didn't have all the pieces. Right. And you can come back to it, you know, a year later, two years later. That happened to me, right? I was working on stuff on other traffic sources and stuff. And two years later, came back with them. Oh, you know what? Let me try this.

Now try and it works. Okay. So if there is anything you were really passionate about and you tried, but it didn't give you the results that you were expecting. Try to go back to it, because since then, I'm pretty sure you acquired more knowledge about different areas surrounding this. And there might be some things that you overlooked and that you can implement now.

Same reason why I told you I was going to reread the book called “4 hour work week”, because when I read it, everything was brand new to me. You know, most of it. And I mean, now some of these things are what I practice, you know, and there are more concepts that I’m familiar with because I've been in contact with them and a lot of the chapters will make a lot more sense.

So that's pretty much it. Just look at the awesome stuff that you had given up on that you started ages ago. Go and try to revisit it. You'd be surprised how much more knowledge you’ve acquired, how much more you'll know, and you'll understand how you know what? I was actually going at it the wrong way. And if I do this, then it's going to work!
