What Nobody tells you about entrepreneurs.
Today, I got interviewed and the subject was fascinating. There are things that only a few people will tell you about entrepreneurs…
It turns out that these are the things that actually matter, and that people should focus on.
What could it be? Why does it actually matter more than anything?
All the details and more in this episode.

I spent the day here in Bali with my French buddy, who's leaving tomorrow.
So I generally I don't venture too far, but it's a 40 minute drive or something, which is not the end of the world. And I decided to go there. We were supposed to go for just for lunch. But we ended up having a chat and I got interviewed.
So I got another interview. Well, obviously, I mean, this one is with a like-minded friend. So it's not like I'm going to appear on CNN and whatever and it's in French.
But it was very, very interesting because the subject of his podcast is something that I actually had never seen before. And I'm pretty sure maybe some people are doing it as well. He is more interested in the man or the woman behind the business instead of the actual business.
So he wants people to talk about what they do, the initiatives that they're putting together, how they want to positively affect the world. And if there is anything new that they are doing on the social level or something more than how much money you actually make or, you know, what tools and stuff do you use and everything.
And I thought it was a good idea because there is a big misconception about business owners where a lot of people see a business owner as a greedy goblin who likes counting their money or who is just after the money and stuff. But they are people just like you, people with dreams, people with aspirations and people with passions and stuff like that.
And I think it was really interesting to be able to showcase that and tell people, dude, I’m just human. The only difference is I own a business, but you work for someone else. To me, that's the only difference. Right.
I told him, dude, I think it's a fantastic idea what you're doing because there is a lot of separation in the corporate environment. Right. So I'm talking about France, for example, where the hierarchy is very, very rigid. The boss is like these birds of prey, watching you from their golden tower. They're inaccessible and people are scared.
The boss is supposed to be some do the only thing they think about is work and you know, some do or some chick. Right. And it's actually not true.
There’s so much bad stuff in the news and on TV and for once, you have a, you know, an attempt to show the good in people and not just how much I generate in terms of sales and wealth. So I thought it was really, really cool.
What Nobody tells you about entrepreneurs.
So I got to tell him what I'm doing and what I'm trying to do, my, you know, my plans and stuff. And he was really surprised because you might know people like this, if they do something for others, you will hear about it.
Trust me. Oh, man, I've done this now, you know, just to show you how good a person they are. And it's just nice to hear. I was like, dude, I don't know, I'm just doing that. I'm not looking for any reward or anything. But I think the interview went great. So, yeah, all in all, it was a really, really good day.
I was supposed to be there just for lunch, but it turns out that I left at like seven thirty or something where when I was planning on leaving at maybe like 2:00 p.m., something like that. So, you know, it's always cool when it happens this way.
