The power of being yourself.
Today we are going to talk about why you need to be yourself and never waiver. I just realized how much I’ve changed in the last 2 months.
There is some really big news coming. On Monday I will announce a bunch of things I've been working my ass off on for the last couple of weeks and I have some really cool things coming.
The objective of the podcast was just to give you some feedback about some something I've been experiencing recently without even realizing it, because right now I'm trying to form a new habit. And today we're seven days away from me forming a new habit. Sixty seven days straight doing the podcast and at that point it will become harder for me not to do the podcast than to do it.
And you know while you're in this transition phase, you don't realize how much you've changed. Only the people outside can tell you how much you've changed. And maybe in some situations you will realize yourself that. Yeah this actually happened to me. I came to that realization.
Yes, actually because I'm working on some stuff right now and I'm shooting videos. And before I absolutely dreaded videos. I like to stay in the shadow like the puppet master and stuff and allowing people to see me every time in a video, wasn't natural and I was always very robotic.
So my brother was shooting videos as well and he asked me for my opinion, so I was like “oh can you give me your opinion on my video too?” And he asked me “dude do you use a script or something like this?” I'm like “No you know I just tried to figure out the three main ideas that I want to give in the actual video and then afterwards I just go for it”. And he was really impressed!
So I make it easy for me to be myself and just you know go with the flow instead of being like super robotic. Well anyway so that was the realization that I see I've reached a new level which for me is really not natural. And I came to a really cool step which is being comfortable in video and more importantly just being myself.
So the important message here is ”being yourself”. Because. It makes things so easy.
Like it's 10 times easier than when I started. So for example, I think that if I had recorded those videos on the first day of the podcasts or before the podcast then I think they would have some sounded very different. Whereas in this case, after 60 days of talking into the microphone, I got kind of used to having an audience on the other side even though I don't see you guys and stuff.
And this is a new phase for me in the sense that when I started, I thought that you have to go with what feels natural for you. So podcasting felt natural for me and feels natural for me and videos didn't. But now I think I could do some videos. So in the near future, I think I will add some video to what I'm doing and I think it’ll be a better way to connect with you guys as well because you know you can see a little bit of where I am and what I do and stuff.
The power of being yourself
To just be myself helped me a lot. And even without forcing it you know sometimes you were like oh you have this objective you want to force it and you try to rush things. In this case it was a natural process. I didn't even realize it until yesterday when I saw my brother.
So that means that my freedom of choice is going to evolve. So I'm going to maybe add some new channels. You know some videos or some Facebook lives and everything. So these are some of the things that I'm going to talk to you guys about on Monday.
So guys, be yourself. You can't even imagine how easier it makes things. And the next thing you know, even without forcing it, you'll be so comfortable with what you're doing and you'll be able to find your voice.
