I wanted to talk to you about mental triggers. So I think we talked about mental triggers in the very beginning of the podcast.
I'm not going to go through all the mental triggers, just some of them. So some of them are actually quite useful. So you have stuff like urgency, you know, like, well, it will end tomorrow or you need to get it. Now, or I only have two of them. You need to buy it now because, you know, if you don't take it, someone else will.
And there is one that's actually quite big. And I think it's very important. And if you just analyse even the way you interact and how you buy stuff, then you'll see how important this one is.
And this one is likability.
OK, so likability is super powerful. If you don't know what it is, which is pretty self-explanatory, is people just like you, OK, they like you. It's not just that they like you because you're the nicest guy on the planet. Some people might like you because you have strong opinions and you stand behind your opinions and stuff.
Or they like you because you have your own approach to things and you don't necessarily care. So, you know, maybe half the country hates you and the other one likes you and something like that.
And this one is actually very powerful because it is not just in business. There are a lot of aspects in life where you see how powerful likability is.

So in business, you know, if you really like someone like a friend of yours, right, you really like the person and the person is advising you to take something, you will take it all the same way that if you really like someone you are following in Instagram or something.
So let's say you're following me and you really like me. Right. I have a product for you. Look, here it is. You need this. You should get it. So if I tell you this, because we have this relationship and a complete stranger comes and tells you the same thing, you will be more tempted to get it from me. Because you know me. You like me.
I so mean, I can't even tell you how many times I have bought stuff from someone in particular where I could have bought it, like from anyone. So, you know, in the Internet world, someone comes up with a product and then all of a sudden you have five people emailing you about this product. You need to get it now.
And I realized that I was buying always from the same guy who was the affiliate because I just like the guy and I could have bought from anyone, but I didn't know this guy. I didn't have, like, a relationship with him. I was buying using the guy's link because I just like the guy. Right.
So it is very, very powerful. You can use that to your advantage. For me, that’s the most important mental trigger you can utilise.
But don't forget the purpose of this podcast. It’s just to tell you that if you are in a situation where you think like, oh man, I'm not the biggest expert and blah, blah, blah, and this is why it's not going to work. I'm just telling, you know, this is not the most important thing.
Being like likable and having this relationship with your audience is going to do a lot for you.
