Yesterday I was checking my emails and I saw an email from someone I know that I highly respect and is actually very good at what he does.
He sent a video about a case study of a launch that he did for dating products. So I looked at it and it was actually very interesting to see, you know, like starting from scratch, you know, building the funnel and all that kind of stuff, sending the traffic and then the results and the conversions, basically explaining all the mechanisms and more importantly, the traffic source, OK?
And the reason why I was so interested in this is because a few years ago a buddy of mine started this dating website. But the main issue that we had was finding the right people that we wanted for it. And I was busy with other stuff. So it was one of those projects where I was doing a few things at a time.
I didn't manage to get the results that I wanted for it. OK, and then there were technical difficulties where we actually had to move the website because we were using a platform where we pay a membership or something.
And what I saw yesterday was one of the missing pieces to the puzzle for that project because that source of traffic that I saw there will be perfect for what I want to do for this project.

And so basically what I did today is I went back to two major projects and dusted it off and it's back in action. So I'm updating it and stuff. I'm working on the sales page and the up sales and what kind of stuff we already have.
So my message here is, and I think I already told you that recently is that sometimes, when you’re working on a project and not getting the results that you want, you just give it up and forget about it.
Then you just assume that it doesn't work. My philosophy on that is that it doesn't work yet. Right. So maybe you need more information or you need to see it from a different angle or something. You need to try something different, which in this case, for me, this is what happened.
I saw this. I was like, oh, this is really cool. Let me go and do this. So I'm updating this thing and I'm pretty sure that this is going to get results this time because I do have all the missing pieces that I didn't have at the time, because in five years, trust me, I've learned a lot of things.
I have better tools that do things a lot easier, especially one click up sales and stuff, because at the time it was a giant mess.
So now what I wanted to tell you here is to do an inventory of everything you have and that you have done over the years. OK, so I'm talking about, I don't know, like social media accounts. Maybe you still have a Twitter account that you haven't used in ages.
You've built this website that you haven't used. You maybe have this email list. You haven't sent them anything. Right. I want you to go ahead and list all of these things because it could very well be that now you have way more information than before and you can actually leverage those assets that you have.
And once you start listing all these things, then you realize that, oh, you know what? I've actually done a lot and I know I have so much stuff and maybe I can use this for something.
