I have had some content produced for one of my businesses. Because, as I said, there are many different types of content. And there is some content that you can actually get someone else to do because this is not necessarily something you're passionate about, it’s just one of your opportunity businesses and stuff.
So I do have someone writing some content for me and that person wrote some content and I had to look at the content. So in a sense, you could say that the content was good, but in some other way it wasn't as impactful as it could be.
The content was someone asking what a Chabot is. And the answer was, well, it's some sort of machine with artificial intelligence that does……. I mean, it's not a basic definition. It’s very technical. Looks like the definition that you get on Wikipedia when you're like, oh, what's an IP address? And that will give you something like super complicated.
So did it answer the question? Yes, it did answer the question, but in some very complicated terms that don't actually entice anybody to click. So at the end of that definition, which was like two or three paragraphs or something, there was a link. If you wanted to know more, click here.
And I'm like, dude, after you tell me about the neuro linguistic pattern, something like that, some something really technical. I don't want to click on the link, to be honest. I've seen all these acronyms and it makes it super complicated. Unless you are a super programmer, you're not going to click on it. And if you're a super programmer, why are you actually going clicking on something that says what's a Chabot?

What you want when you're writing some content, you want to sell the click. OK, don’t do click bait. And then people click and they end up somewhere else. Right. But you want people to click. And what's the number one thing that people are worried about when they purchase something, when they make a decision? What is the number one thing people worry about?
What’s in it for me? OK, you buy when something, there is something in it for you. It's never like, oh, let me buy this big house and just give it to Bob, right? No, you buy it for yourself. There is always a reason. It's always a selfish reason why you want to buy something.

If you tell me, all right, so a Chabot is a technology that automates stuff. And well, here are some things that you could actually automate in your life. You could do this, you could do that, and you could do this.
I and me, for example, I'm using that technology for my business and with my marketing. This is what the bot allows me to do. Boom, boom, boom. So which one would you click on?
Something that allows you to actually visualize what it will do for you, which one do you think you will click on? Right. So if you're like me, you'll click on the second one. The second one that actually shows you what it can do for your life, what's in it for you.
And obviously people are going to click, OK, so it's just a simple rule that you have to keep in mind when you're writing your content. You always, always want to answer this question. There is only one question that you need to answer, and this is the question that the reader is asking himself or herself is, dude, what's in it for me?
