Are You Actually Learning From Success?
1. Can you name the specific system behind your biggest competitor's success?
If you only see their results but cannot describe their process, you are admiring, not learning. Study the machine, not the output.

Somebody has already solved the problem you are stuck on, and their playbook is often sitting in plain sight. But copying feels like admitting you are not a genius, so people reinvent the wheel to protect their ego and lose years doing it. I did this for far too long. So find someone who already has the result you want, study the system behind it, and copy the mechanics before you try to improve them.
