I just want to come back to this event where I was speaking at because there is a valuable lesson to be learned there.

So as you know, I was in Thailand up until a few days ago. Some of the people who showed up there, well, they were listening to the presentation. And so basically we're presenting them a concept. And if you had something that could have helped speed up the results or give them better results faster and easier, then you could actually present that to them.

So me, I explained some of the concepts there and I told them, well, you know what? If you want to take that to the next level, you want to automate it and you want to industrialize it, instead of doing that manually, you can just do it until infinity.

Then I have a product here that could help you, if you understood the concepts. So if you understand this concept, you can actually do it. It's going to take a lot of time to do it manually but you can do it. But if you want the product thatโ€™s going to speed up everything and it's going to automate that for you, then this is it.

And I wasn't really pushy about the whole sell and stuff because I'm not a salesperson. But here in this case, I recommend to people what I use every day. All right. I know it works for me. My life is awesome. And if you want an awesome life, get it. If you don't, well, it's your loss, not mine. I don't need you to actually go and buy it. So that's the mind-set that I go with.

And the crowd were into like ecommerce and all that stuff. I don't think they properly understood the applications for their field. And if they didn't, then whose fault is it? Itโ€™s mine more than anything. But, you know, the time that we had was limited. So I should have eclipsed various areas of this and made it more specific for them, which I didn't do.

And they just didn't get it. So nobody actually bought it, which is fine. Then after the session, some of them came to me and they started talking more positively. It was really awesome. You know, I need to start building something first, then I will definitely go and have a look at it. Yeah, no problem, bro.

I mean, it's the best thing for me is if you buy when youโ€™re ready to buy and when it makes sense for you. I don't want anybody to buy and then have second thoughts and stuff. And I answered some of the questions, you know, so they had a lot of questions and I gave them my honest opinion based on my experience.

Accountability = Success = Money

And yeah, you know, it's one of those things that I like to do and I always, always do, whatever happens, I will look myself in the mirror first before I look for external circumstances.

Some speakers made something more appealing and more tailored to the audience. They basically, like, changed their presentation a little bit or adapted it to the crowd and actually managed to make sales, which is really good for them. So the fact that some people actually made sales means that it was possible to make sales. Right.

So, you know, the tough crowd argument is not an argument, right? It was possible. It's just that you didn't find a way to do it. And that's pretty much how I see things. These guys, they're a little bit more reactive on all the objections and stuff like that of the audience.

So my message here is more than just telling you about the event. It was that some people were blaming external circumstances of oh, man, tough crowd. Well, tough crowd would have meant that nobody ever on this planet would have been able to sell anything to these people.

It's just that, well, you haven't found the words that interest them and will pick their curiosity and stuff. But everybody can be sold on something. So don't just start blaming the external circumstances. If you find what makes people tick, then you can sell them anything, you know.

So hopefully that makes sense, you know, be accountable. Look in the mirror first. Stop blaming external circumstances, economy. These people are so cheap, these people to do this or blah, blah, blah. Everybody buys stuff. You just need to figure out what makes them buy.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does accountability mean for entrepreneurs?

Accountability for entrepreneurs means owning every result, good or bad, instead of blaming markets, clients, or luck. You answer for missed deadlines, broken promises, and wrong calls. This habit forces sharper decisions, faster learning, and the discipline that quietly separates serious operators from people who simply talk about building a business.

How does accountability translate directly into more money?

Accountability translates into money because every avoided excuse becomes a recovered sale, a delivered project, or a returning customer. When you stop blaming external factors, you find the real fix in your offer, copy, or follow-up. Each fix compounds, and revenue rises because customers reward operators who keep their word.

What is the first step to becoming more accountable?

The first step is to write down every commitment you make this week to clients, partners, or yourself, with a date next to it. Review the list daily. Mark each one kept or broken. After seven days you see the pattern, and accountability shifts from a slogan into a measurable habit.

How is accountability different from blame or guilt?

Blame and guilt look backwards and freeze you. Accountability looks forward and frees you. Blame asks who is at fault, guilt punishes you for being human, and accountability simply asks what you will do next. That third question is the only one that improves your business, your income, and your future.
