I am in a big trouble because I am flying tonight and, well, I'm not ready. Right now is 1.30 am. My taxi is getting here at 5 am. I'm still not packed and I have a few things to finish. And packing always takes forever. So it's going to be a long ride. I just have some things to finish. And that's the level of commitment that I feel that I that I have.
I said I was going to finish today before leaving for the Philippines, and you've got to do it right.
So, yeah, I don't have actually much to say today, to be honest. So I just didn't want to miss the appointment with you guys because it's always very important for me, even if it's a quick chat with you guys. You know, it's always good. So what can I tell you?
Oh, yeah, I see. Well, you know my girlfriend left. So basically today is Valentine's Day. You know, and it's funny. She sent me this picture. There's this page she follows in Romania and the thing said, well, we'll charge you 100 bucks to come and arrest you in front of your wife for Valentine's Day and to only release you on Monday.
And basically, it says the hundred bucks covers the cabin where they're going to bring you along with the wine, the pool table, the Jacuzzi and the stuff where you're going enjoy the rest of the weekend. And basically, you donโt actually have to buy a present or anything. I just thought it was hilarious.
It's very, very quick. I'm still finishing some stuff and crossing it off the board, which is really cool, being able to cross some stuff off. And I'm trying to get everything ready for launch man, but I still haven't packed a thing!!
So yeah, tomorrow I'll be speaking at the event. I am not ready. I am I haven't prepared anything. So I'll see how that goes tomorrow. I know what I'm going to talk about, but I haven't prepared like a document like a PowerPoint or something like that. I don't know if they expect me to do it. I will try to find the time to do it tomorrow anyway.
But, yeah, that's pretty much it for this. But it's going to be really short, guys. Again, as I said, I am in deep trouble. I need to pack. So Iโll upload this very quickly and then afterwards, finish whatever I needed to do here to be able to launch. I think it's done, man. Yeah, I have a few things to do. Like infinite resources. But that's pretty much it, guys.

So it was a lot of work. Jesus Christ, man. It was a lot of work, but I think I nailed it. So that's good. So I will upload this. I don't know if I should actually go to bed or something, because by the time I go to bed, I will have three hours. So I'm not sure that there's much point. I can always just sleep on the plane I suppose.
All right. Anyway, guys, you know, I didn't want to miss this appointment. And I'll talk to you guys tomorrow.

Frequently Asked Questions
What should you do when a product launch is in trouble close to the date?
Cut features, not the launch date. Ship the smallest version that delivers the core promise, and label later additions as the public roadmap. Most launches that slip past the announced date lose roughly 40 percent of pre-built momentum, while trimmed launches that ship on time recover within 2 weeks.
How do you decide what to keep and what to cut from a launch?
Keep only the feature or module that produces the headline transformation. Cut everything supporting, decorative, or nice-to-have. If a feature can be added 30 days later without breaking the buyer's first quick win, it does not belong in the launch and only adds delivery risk on the launch day itself.
What do you tell early customers when the scope shrinks?
Tell them exactly what is shipping, exactly what is moving to the public roadmap, and offer a small bonus (extra month, bonus session, or template pack) as goodwill. Customers respect operators who ship on time with less, far more than operators who slip dates while promising everything that was ever scoped.
How do you stop the next launch from going off the rails?
Run a 30-day pre-launch checklist with three weekly checkpoints. Define done before starting. Time-box every feature to a maximum of 5 working days. Most launch trouble traces back to undefined scope and unbounded perfectionism, not to lack of ability. A tight process beats heroic last-minute fixes every time.
