This Greek philosopher. Socrates, said โ€œI cannot teach anybody anything. I can only make them thinkโ€. This is absolutely true.

One thing you hear in my intro is that in this podcast we want to ask the right questions. So these are the questions that make you think and it's funny, I saw this this quote today and I was like, that's on point, man. That's really what I want to do. OK.

When you're in business, entrepreneurship and stuff, things are constantly moving. Right. What was working yesterday is not necessarily working tomorrow. So you don't want to get into a situation where you're like, oh, man, I've only learned this. That's all I can do.

You want to be in a situation where you do understand what you're doing today, but if something changes, you have the ability and all the resources necessary in your brain to adapt. And for that, you need to think.

More than telling people, OK. Click here. Click there. Click there. You know, you can do that like operational stuff. But me, I don't like doing this stuff. You know, as I said, I always want my staff and everybody working with me to understand where we're going.

I want them to understand the concept. I also like to ask them some questions as well. When I teach people some stuff, I will give them the overall strategy. And then when I repeat, I will ask some questions. Why are we doing this? And if you understand what the problem is, that you are trying to solve, it makes things a lot easier. OK.

And for me, it's the same thing. So there's this quote. โ€œGive someone a fish and they will eat for a dayโ€ฆteach them how to fish and they will eat for a lifetimeโ€.

So I don't want to be in a situation where I'm just teaching something to someone in the sense that they will only know that thing that I just told them. I want people to be able to adapt to any situation they will encounter because we've discussed this before. This is what's going to make a big difference for you as an entrepreneur.

Your ability to adapt to changes, because you know what? Everything is going to change. It's always moving. Everything moves all the freaking time, which is good, right? Because otherwise, we will just run out of products and run out of methods or something like that. You know, the world will be static. It will be uninteresting. So me, I strive for this. I really want everybody in my team to be able to do that. Right.

What's 10x more powerful than learning something new?

So, you know, sometimes I have people asking me, oh, man, you know what? How does that work? So instead of me going and showing them, I'm like, OK, so let's look at this situation. I will ask them questions that will not necessarily answer their question straight away, because, you know, they don't see the process that was behind that.

If you understand all the questions that led me to that particular point, you understand why I did it, why it makes sense and how it could be done differently to achieve the same result.

And you can actually create your own stuff. And this is what I always want to do with my staff when I give them something. I want them to think about it. And I want them to give me suggestions. All right. Because you know what? Another brain seems to get stuff from a different angle.

It can actually make it a lot better. So this is the same thing for you, OK? When you're looking for a mentor or something and if you have a good mentor, that mentor is actually going to ask you a lot of questions. People think it's frustrating. You know, it's like, oh, man, I don't get any answers.

I'm only getting questions. What kind of mentorship is this and stuff? This is precisely what mentorship is. If you guided to be able to answer this question by yourself, by seeing which angle you should approach that from, then. This is invaluable, right.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is 10x more powerful than learning something new in business?

Implementing one thing you already know. Most solopreneurs sit on five strategies they have already studied but never executed. Picking one and shipping it for 60 days produces ten times the result of buying another course or watching another podcast on a parallel topic that adds zero new motion.

How do you stop buying courses and start executing?

Set a no-new-input rule for 90 days. No new books, courses, or webinars on the same topic. Pick one play from your existing notes and run it daily. Almost every solopreneur stuck below 5,000 dollars a month has a knowledge surplus and an implementation deficit, never the other way around.

Why does action outperform knowledge so heavily?

Knowledge without reps gives you opinions; reps give you data. Five real attempts at one sales script teach more than fifty hours of sales theory. Reality returns feedback the second you ship, while knowledge sits frozen in your head and decays at roughly 40 percent retention every 30 days that passes.

How many strategies should a solopreneur really focus on?

Two at most, run in parallel for at least 90 days each. One traffic motion and one offer motion. Most operators try to run six and quietly do none of them well. Trim the list, double the depth, and let compounding handle the rest of the curve from there.
