I already told you about this application called Zapier and it's the best. This thing is really awesome and it’s been around for the last maybe eight years or something, but I've never actually played too much with it.

And it's a big, big mistake on my part because this thing is the most powerful thing you could you actually can imagine in terms of automation and stuff. There’s a really good explainer video that basically said, well, you know, today you have apps to do everything. You have an app for your Instagram, one for your Dropbox and one for whatever.

So these apps, they make our life super easy because they automate stuff to make stuff easy. But there is one thing that they don't do, which is talk to one another, which was a big problem.

So back in the day, if you wanted to have an app talking to another app, then you had to find a developer to come and actually code and stuff like that.

So today, when you get a product, very often you see that there are some integrations. So basically everything is already there, integrated with a bunch of apps. But Zapier were actually the first ones that said, well, you know, we're going to solve this problem and they're the biggest ones on the planet. I don't think they have a competitor. I think even if some people wanted to compete, they just gave up.

So they decided that they were going to create a platform that was going to make everybody's life easier. So basically, the principle is this.

So when you create an app, as long as you make sure that it's compatible with Zapier, that they can add them to the catalogue of their apps, then you can communicate with pretty much any app on the planet. Any app that can talk to the app here will be able to talk to another app that does appear.

So let's say, for example, that here is the equivalent of an interpreter. So let's say, you know, I speak Greek and you speak Chinese and we have an interpreter in the middle. When I talk to you, I have no idea what you're saying, but the interpreter in the middle is actually able to translate the greeting to Chinese, Chinese into Greek. And that's what this thing does.

So you don't need actually to program anything, there is a trigger. I'm playing with Instagram. You click on the Instagram icon, then they ask you, OK, so what's the trigger on Instagram? When I post the photo and then they ask you, what do you want to do? So you drag another app saying, well, I want all my photos that I post to go to this Dropbox folder or to send an email to my assistant to do this, to do that. And you can do this with every single app.

It's absolutely beautiful. And I've been playing around with it because I'm learning something new that I started learning like yesterday, you know, remember I told you about forums?

This guy was helping me out. It was for this particular purpose. And then I realized that, you know what? I haven't even scratched the surface of Zapier. This thing is the most powerful thing you can use in business, provided that you just have the idea, you know what? Let me try to learn how I can do this with that.

And I mean, pretty much every app is in there and you can make your life a lot easier, a lot easier.

So it's just a matter of sitting down and being like, OK, so what do I do in my business when I do this? Then afterwards I will manage to get the information and put it there. So can I create a zap that does it. And then afterwards you created the zap and that's it. You don't have to do it anymore.
