Right. So there was this nurse in I think it was she was Australian and she was working in palliative care. She started a blog and she recorded the testimonials of people who had just a few weeks left to live. And she basically asked them what their biggest regrets were. The top regret is going to affect well, pretty much everybody here.
The single biggest regret that she recorded amongst all the people was not having the courage to live a life true to themselves. And so they basically did what other people expected of them. They had a lot of the dreams but they never actually pursued it. These this is the like the single most single biggest regret that she recorded amongst those people.
So what I'm saying here is that you're not going to fulfil every single dream. It's not possible. Me. I told you I'm bigger fan, a big fan of Superman. My dream is to fly. I might not fulfil that dream, at least not in the same form as Superman. I might be able to fly. I flew in a simulator. Haha…
But there are some dreams that you will have and you won't be able to fulfill those dreams. Okay. And that's okay. You don't have to fulfil all your dreams. But one of the biggest regrets that you will have is if you actually never tried to fulfil those dreams.

Why? Because if you haven't tried, then you're going to speculate about it. Oh, dude, what if I had done this and what if I had done that? Right. And this is something that's eating people alive. All right. So that's why you know me in in my life and this is the advice that I had for everybody is to give it a shot. Okay. Just give it a shot.
Not everything will work. To be honest, it may be 10 percent, 20 percent. If you're good, you know, 10 percent of whatever you're going to try is going to work. Okay. But at least you've tried.
But for whatever reason. Maybe fear, you know your own fear of you know what? I don't want to fail and I don't want to look bad or whatever. And then you don't try it. You make up excuses for yourself and then you don't try it. Right. We all do it. You just go and you do it right.
But you will make mistakes. You'll make excuses for yourself. Or it could be, you know, stuff where you were just listening to what other people are saying, you know, like don't do this and don't do that. People will discourage you. And then you just listen to these people and you never end up doing it. So me in my life, I do have I tried not to have regrets, like for the last eight years or so.
How long has it been? Maybe like eight years. I will say that for the last eight years. I can say I don't have regrets.
But here's the thing. I know myself now and I know who I was before as well. And the reason why I was able to accomplish this life for myself is because I had all my dedication and all my attention and stuff. I directed it towards this goal. The life I have today, I absolutely love it. I don't regret anything.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do you live so you do not regret anything at the end of your life?
Run a regret-minimization framework on every major choice: imagine yourself at 80 looking back and ask which option you would wish you had taken. Bias toward the harder, scarier option because regrets cluster around what you did not do, not what you tried and failed at.
What do most people regret at the end of their lives?
Bronnie Ware, a palliative care nurse, documented the top 5 regrets: working too much, not staying in touch with friends, not expressing feelings, not letting yourself be happier, and not living a life true to yourself instead of what others expected. Action items hide inside each.
How does an entrepreneur use regret minimization for business decisions?
Apply it to three buckets: starting (would you regret not trying), persistence (would you regret quitting at this point), and pivots (would you regret another year on the same path). The framework cuts through analysis paralysis by replacing optimization with future-self honesty.
What changes when you start designing your life around minimizing regret?
Time allocation shifts toward people, health, and meaningful work, away from busy work and approval-seeking. Decisions get faster because the criteria simplify. Most people who run this exercise quit at least one obligation within 90 days and add at least one previously-avoided commitment.
