Happiness can come from the simplest things in life.
Today, we are going to talk about happiness. We often assume that happiness comes from these big and costly material things we spend our life chasing.

We just had a Christmas party for the kids at the orphanage. And yeah, it was very, very cool to get them out of their environment and be able to take them to take them to a restaurant.
So Claire and Richard organized everything. And it was just a blast. The kids had fun. We played some games and it takes your mind out of everything else that's going on. Right, for these few hours. You know, nobody cared about their problems and stuff.
It was really, really cool. So, you know, so I had some uniforms made for the basketball team so we're like a big family now. Everybody has their T-shirt with their name on it and yeah. It was really awesome.
I just wanted to take this opportunity to remind you a little bit about Christmas. I'm really not into Christmas or whatever, but this was just a meal. But it actually means a lot the kids. You cannot change lives, like, radically or something. But I think it can have a big impact on them knowing that people care about them.
So they actually gave me some presents. They wrote some cards and stuff for me, which you know, I usually don't have presents because I don't actually need anything.
I was very emotional. I almost cried. I just wasn't expecting this. So, you know, they wrote some nice words for me. So I'm going to put it in my house. I'm going to frame it and put it somewhere. It's going to be cool anyway. Yeah.
It's just, you know, reiterating what I said yesterday, Christmas is a period where people spend an awful lot of money to buy meaningless things. I'll say. I mean, I want this game on this on that stuff. It's not necessary, you know. Maybe instead of, like buying some of these things, I think it will be nice to give a little bit, you know, to a charity, like a charity or whatever charity is.
Again, it doesn't have to be a charity. You know, whatever it is, whatever you're into, you can give to charity. And, you know, you can actually make a big difference for someone today. What we did was big for the kids. Right. They loved it. And what they did for me was big as well. So it can actually, well, change someone's perspective in someone's life.
So it's the peer pressure, but not peer pressure in a sense that you think like everybody around you is celebrating, having fun and having all these dinners and all that stuff and you're not. So that has to be very hard and must put a toll on people. Just consider it.

Think about, you know what? Maybe I could, you know, just like, you know, ten bucks. You don't realize 10 bucks can help someone to have Christmas, you know? It doesn't have to be a present or something. Could be a meal. It could be know some time off from something. But just 10 bucks can actually change a lot of things.
So today was really, really cool because I met some really, really interesting people and very, you know, giving people, you know, its funny how you always say, ah, you know what? You need to meet some good people.
But it's really true. Like, you know, in this atmosphere, all the people there were very unselfish and giving their time and attention for these kids and even in their daily life, these are they're beautiful people because they give back to other people.
But anyway, I'm pretty sure all of you guys will have some time off right now. So, you know, enjoy the Friday evening. And I will catch you guys tomorrow for new adventure.
The most joyful moments in life rarely come from things you can buy. They come from connection, presence, and the willingness to give your time to someone who needs it.
Happiness is not something you chase. It finds you when you stop running after expensive distractions and start paying attention to what's already in front of you.
Frequently Asked Questions: Happiness and Simplicity
Why do people struggle to find happiness even when they have money? Because happiness is not a product. Money can remove certain stressors, but it cannot manufacture joy. The research consistently shows that beyond basic needs, additional income does little to increase daily emotional wellbeing. What actually drives happiness is connection, purpose, and the feeling of being useful to someone else.
What is the simplest way to feel happier starting today? Give something. Your time, your attention, a small act of generosity toward someone who will feel the difference. When you stop thinking about what you lack and start focusing on what you can offer, the emotional shift is immediate and measurable.
How does helping others benefit you personally? When you focus outward, you interrupt the cycle of self-comparison and craving that drives most unhappiness. You get out of your own head. You create genuine connection. And you give yourself evidence that you matter to someone, which is one of the most powerful sources of wellbeing available to any human being.
