I had lunch with my buddy, who has an e-commerce site and uh and yeah, I mean, he's absolutely killing it. It's crazy. He just started like a month ago and he's already making like thirty three grand or something in like thirteen days. It's crazy. It's absolutely insane.

You guys you might have heard about drop shipping and stuff like that. So that's what he does. And I do some drop shipping as well. I've have a few stores and I actually have a training. It's not out yet, but anyway drop shipping is a good option, but there are a lot of moving pieces.

You may hear a lot of people telling you, man, you know what, you should go to drop shipping and stuff, blah, blah, blah. It is easier than some jobs, but there is a lot of moving pieces and he had to organize a lot of different things. There are a lot of people actually working on that because if you're doing it by yourself, it's very hard to manage. But he actually made it happen.

You, uh and you know, we were talking because we do pretty much the same job like email marketing and stuff.

Tonight we went to the movies. And gee, what was the name of the movie? I don't know. Something like The Kid Who Conquered the wind or something. It's a true story about a kid in Malawi, who, I don't want to tell you the whole story, but who struggles to go to school because of, like, money problems and stuff, and then he wants to find a way to help his village because his village is in a lot of trouble.

And it's actually a true story. And it's a beautiful story. And, you know, it's very funny because I was talking to my buddy and sometimes it sucks and stuff, but there are worse things. And one of the worst things was, you know, in this movie, you can see how other farmers have to deal with droughts and floods and stuff like that.

And it's a lot of manual labour. I mean, it was in Malawi like eighteen years ago. And so you can see, you know, these guys were not equipped, with machines.

And this is when you realize the dude. I mean, some people do actually do that for a living and it's hard. That's not my work, you know, like even construction working and stuff. This is something I'll never be able to do as much as I can complain about when stuff goes down.

I think in this movie honestly, you can see some realities that you are not facing because of where you live and stuff. But, you know, I've never actually worked in a farm or something like that, so I don't know the realities.

If you are having a bad day, this could help.

So the watching this movie, I realized the dude, you know, working in the in the fields and stuff. Oh, man, it's hard. It's really hard. I'm not a manual person thought and yeah, I think I wasn't before, but now it's worsening. Every day that passes is worse. I'm useless with this kind of thing because I just don't want to do it.

You know, so that's why I wouldn't be able to survive in that environment, just like the movie. So it was just a good reminder of what we do and how we didn't get there by accident, right. So you have to understand as well is that we worked to get to a point where we have a job. It's not physically demanding. Right.

So it's not like we are lucky and it's not like the there was a lucky star something. Now we build stuff so that we don't have to do physical labour and stuff. But now that we do, sometimes we have to remember that, you know what? Not everybody in this world gets to do that.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the fastest mindset reset for a really bad day?

The fastest mindset reset is to physically move for 10 minutes outside, leave the phone behind, and breathe slowly through the nose. The chemistry of a bad day is partly metabolic, not just emotional. Move the body and the mood softens enough to make better decisions for the rest of the day.

How do you separate a bad hour from a bad day from a bad life?

Most bad days are one bad hour generalised across the whole calendar. Most bad lives are one bad year generalised across a decade. Catch the zoom level. A bad hour deserves a snack and a walk. A bad day deserves an earlier bedtime. A bad life deserves a different question.

Why does perspective change your bad day faster than effort?

Pushing harder on a bad day usually makes the day worse because effort with low mood produces low quality work that you will redo tomorrow anyway. Perspective resets the framing for free. Five minutes of in five years, will this still matter is more useful than five hours of forced output.

What daily habit prevents most bad days from happening at all?

A short, fixed morning routine consisting of water, light, movement, and one written priority. Builders who run this routine report fewer bad days because the day opens with momentum already created. Bad days mostly start as drifting mornings that bleed into reactive afternoons. Anchor the start.
