Corrections Policy
We would rather be accurate than look perfect. When something on this site is wrong, we fix it in the open. This page explains how.
How we handle corrections
- If we find or are told about a factual error, we verify it, then correct the page.
- For a minor fix, such as a typo or a broken link, we update the page and refresh the “Last updated” date.
- For a substantive fix, such as a changed price, an outdated method, or a wrong figure, we correct the content and, where the change is material, add a short note explaining what changed and when.
How to report an error
- Use the Contact page and tell us the page, the claim, and what you believe is correct. A source helps but is not required.
- We read every report and respond to the ones that need a reply.
Why this matters
Much of what we publish is about money, time, and business decisions. People act on it. That is exactly why we treat accuracy as a standing obligation and give you a clear, public way to hold the content to account.
This policy works alongside our Editorial Policy and Methodology.
